Return policy

At Sfeer & Scent, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you wish to use your right of withdrawal or return an item, you can do so. Below, you will find all the necessary information about returning products.

Right of return

You have the right to notify us within 14 days after receiving your order if you wish to return (part of) your order. After this notification, you have an additional 14 days to send the product back.

How to return an item

1. Notify us via email

   • Send an email to info@sfeerscent.nl with the subject line "Return [order number]".
   • In the email, include:
     • Your name, phone number, and order number.
     • Which items you wish to return and the reason for the return (optional).
     • Clear photos of the item if it is defective or incorrect. Without photos, we cannot process your return request.
     • Whether you would like a return label from us (available for a fee).

2. Wait for our confirmation

   • You will receive a confirmation from us within 3 working days.
   • For defective or incorrect items, we will send you a free return label. Please wait for our response before sending the package. If you send a defective item back without waiting for our instructions, we cannot process a refund.

3. Package the item carefully

   • Make sure the item is securely packed to avoid (further) damage during transport. This is especially important for fragile items like tableware, tins, wood, glass, and candles.
   • Use the original packaging or a sturdy box. Damage caused by inadequate packaging is your responsibility and will void the refund.

4. Send the package

   • Send the package to the return address below. The return shipping costs are generally your responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
   • For faster processing, please share the Track & Trace code of your return shipment with us.

5. Receive your refund

   • Once we have received and inspected the product, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days.
   • For full returns, we will also reimburse the shipping costs of the original delivery. Return shipping costs are not refundable.

Important conditions

• Return shipping costs: These are your responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrectly delivered.
• Responsibility for shipping: You are responsible for the return shipment until we receive it. Please ensure items are properly packed to avoid damage during transport.
• Non-returnable items:
  • Candles that have already been burned.
  • Hygiene products where the seal has been broken.
• Free shipping threshold: If the total amount of your order falls below the free shipping threshold after a partial return, shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

Exchanges are possible by returning the unwanted item and placing a new order for the desired product. This allows you to immediately see if the desired item is still available.
